The Perfect Instrument is a title sequence based on a horror screenplay of mine currently in development. The plot follows a murderer musician, Mr. Johannes Mengele, transforming his victims into playable flutes, featuring heavy inspiration from classical music.

Problem Statement
For a class project, we were assigned to create a 1 minute animated title sequence for a hypothetical show or movie. Since my genre was horror, I was tasked with making visuals that were both appealing and grotesque, similar to that of our main character.
Individual Shots
The sequence is meant to serve as a prologue for the film, displaying the dark backstory of our main character.
Inspiration
For the style, I referenced several antique anatomy sketches to connect it with the music of that period. I combined the complexity of the human anatomy with the
Screenplay
Here is a little excerpt of the 8 page script, which was written alongside the production of the title sequence. The final shot of the title sequence would transition right into the first scene of the film. Perhaps one day this story could become a fully realized production!
